Protection
The Protection module watches sensitive actions on your server, like deleting channels, banning members, editing the server, or handing out admin roles, and steps in when someone who shouldn't be doing them tries anyway. You decide, action by action, who is allowed to perform each one, and what iHorizon should do to anyone who breaks the rule. Even a compromised admin account or a rogue bot gets stopped before it can wreck your server.
The /allowlist commands manage your circle of trusted people, and the /protect commands set the rules and the punishment.

Only the server owner can use this command.
| Option | Type | Required | Choices |

/allowlist remove <member>
Server owner only
Only the server owner can use this command.
| Option | Type | Required | Choices |

member |
User | Yes | - |

/allowlist show
Server owner or allowlisted members only
Only the server owner, or members already on the allowlist, can use this command.
Displays everyone currently on the allowlist, so you can review who is trusted at a glance.
/protect actions <rule> [allow]
Server owner only
Only the server owner can use this command.
| Option | Type | Required | Choices |
|---|---|---|---|
rule |
String | Yes | Delete All Settings, Select All Rules, Create Webhook, Edit Guild, Create Channel, Update Channel, Delete Channel, Create Role, Delete Role, Update Role, Add/Remove Member Role(s), Ban Members, Kick Members, Unban Members, Add admin role |
allow |
String | No | Only the allowlist, All of member, Nobody (except guild owner) |
Pick a rule (the sensitive action you want to guard) and use allow to say who may perform it:
- Only the allowlist: only your trusted members can do it; everyone else is stopped.
- All of member: anyone with the Discord permission can do it, effectively leaving that action unprotected.
- Nobody (except guild owner): no one but the server owner can do it, the strictest setting.
The list also has two shortcuts: Select All Rules applies your choice to every action at once, and Delete All Settings clears the protection configuration entirely.
/protect sanction <choose>
Server owner only
Only the server owner can use this command.
| Option | Type | Required | Choices |
|---|---|---|---|
choose |
String | Yes | Simply Cancel Actions, Simply Cancel Actions + Derank, Simply Cancel Actions + Ban |
Sets what happens when someone breaks one of your rules. iHorizon always undoes the action itself, and you choose how far to go beyond that:
- Simply Cancel Actions: reverse what they did and leave it there.
- Simply Cancel Actions + Derank: also strip the offender of their roles, removing their power.
- Simply Cancel Actions + Ban: also ban the offender from the server.
/protect show
Server owner only
Only the server owner can use this command.
Displays your current protection setup: every rule, who is allowed to perform it, and the sanction in force. Use it to double-check your configuration.
