New Features

These newer iHorizon features don't fit neatly into the other categories: a counting game, GitHub code previews, an anti-advertising guard, a role saver, and a way to report bugs straight to the developers.

/counter channel <channel>

Requires the Administrator permission

Only members with the Administrator permission can use this command.

Option Type Required Choices
channel Channel Yes -

Sets the channel used for the counting game. In it, members count upwards together: each person types the next number, and iHorizon marks a correct number with the ✅ reaction or a wrong one with the ❌ reaction. You can't count twice in a row yourself, so it takes the whole community to climb higher. Careful though: a wrong number, or counting twice in a row, resets the count to zero.

/counter config <action>

Requires the Administrator permission

Only members with the Administrator permission can use this command.

Option Type Required Choices
action String Yes Power On, Power Off

Turns the counting game on or off. Set the channel first, then power it on to start the count.

/git lines

Requires the Administrator permission

Only members with the Administrator permission can use this command.

Toggles code-line previews. They are on by default: whenever someone posts a link to specific lines of a file on GitHub, GitLab, or a GitHub Gist, iHorizon replies with the actual code from those lines, right in the chat, saving everyone from opening the link to see a two-line snippet. Run this command to switch the previews off, and run it again to switch them back on.

/nightmode

Requires the Administrator permission

Only members with the Administrator permission can use this command.

The Night Mode feature has its own dedicated page here.

/punishpub <status> [amount] [punishement]

Requires the Administrator permission

Only members with the Administrator permission can use this command.

Option Type Required Choices
status String Yes ON, OFF
amount Number No -
punishement String No BAN, KICK, MUTE

Guards your server against advertising. When it is ON, iHorizon watches for members posting Discord invite links or other ads and flags them. Set amount to how many flags a member may collect before being punished, and punishement to what happens then: a ban, a kick, or a mute. Once set up, it keeps spammers and self-promoters in check on its own.

/report <message-to-dev>

Option Type Required Choices
message-to-dev String Yes -

Sends a message straight to iHorizon's developers. Use it to report a bug, a broken command, or a translation mistake; write a clear, complete sentence so they can act on it.

/rolesaver <action> [settings]

Requires the Administrator permission

Only members with the Administrator permission can use this command.

Option Type Required Choices
action String Yes Power On, Power Off
settings String No Yes, No

Remembers a member's roles when they leave, and gives them back automatically if they rejoin. No more re-assigning roles by hand to someone who left and came back. The settings option decides whether administrator roles are restored too; leave it off if you would rather returning members re-earn their admin access.
